BTW can I get a close up pic of the side where the tail curves towards the rear fender?

I've seen tint jobs where it doesn't quite cover that part using ebay kits. How easy was it to put on the tint?

I'm thinking about buying overlays for the sidemarkers, but without clearing them. I don't know if it will looks good, does anyone tried it ?

That's because I want to have my sidemarkers darker but still with an orange/red light to be 100 % legal.

FYI
sides smoked with paint still reflect and light the proper color

lights off

front (light on)
rear (light with flash reflection)

The only picture I have is of my taillights off the car, while I applied the red signal overlay and the GTR smoked overlay (which I did incorrectly as you can see on the right edge):

Well, the area around the brake/signal on the RIGHT side, had a bit too much material in it when I was done with the left... probably applied it incorrectly. I tried to cut in the middle of that area and if you look closely, you can see the line and the overlap. Didn't work too well. I only have the red overlays on them right now.

Same here man. I had problems with the smoked tail overlay as well. It just didn't seem to "fit" properly. Some areas had too much, some not enough.

Just like you, I only have the red overlay on right now.

^^ well nothings perfect...and I did experience the same difficulties but... I actually cut and overlapped between the rear and turn signal circles.

IMO it was alot easier to play with once I made the extra cut.
It looks emmaculate and only would...be noticed by me.. I dont have a exact pic of mine but you get the point.

Once you did that, did the right side shown tighten up? The left side, as you can see fit perfectly but the right side was too stretched.

Ok guys, here are some more pics for those that are interested. The only difficult overlay to apply would be the smoke on the tails. But with a little patience and heat, it worked out pretty well. There are some minor blemishes, but they are only noticable if you get really close and look for them.

Thanks again to Bat for an awesome product and totally changing the look of the car!
