Anyone lowered just in the front?
Allright between my carbon fiber hood in the front and all the stuff in my trunk it seems like my front wheel gap is about 2" bigger than the rear gap. Has anyone just lowered the front with stock struts maybe aftermarket? seriously thinking about buying springs just for the front and using stock struts. lemme know

They lower the front only.
I'm slammed on K-Sport coilovers so > teh springs.

This week I lowered the front only mainly because I had a blown front strut - rears are still OK. I went with Maxspeeds and Blues. The car now sits much more even...I'm sure the front will settle some, but as it is now the front is only about 1/2 an inch lower than the rear (no audio gear in the trunk). I'm not sure if I will install the rear springs when the time comes to change the struts or not.
From reading Housecor's site, I know that he has H&R's on the front only.

I know some of you are interested in the stance of the car (it's important to me too). Keep in mind that the suspension, all of it, is meant to work together. Aftermarket (stiffer) springs with stock struts is not a good idea. Neither is changing the relative stiffness of front to rear springs unless you know what you are doing.
Nothing like finding out while trail-braking on an off ramp, that you've badly affected weight transfer (as the a$$ end comes around on you in traffic)

Nissan SE-R is right regarding the performance discrepancies when utilizing stock suspension components with after market ones (using lowering springs in the front only). However to answer your question with the eibach's up front on stock struts the ride is obviously a bit harsher due to the increased spring rates. It's not a bad ride at all but if you want an even softer ride you might want to consider going with H&R's up front with stock struts, I have never used H&R but from what I hear they ride closest to stock with an even milder drop than eibach's (1.3"). I don't plan to change the stock struts due to the fact that I have pushed the car through some twisty's and off ramps and its handling characteristics far exceed my needs for daily driving and having a little of fun through the corners when I want to. My next mods will be a RSB & FSTB and that should be good enough for me in that department. I must add that I did purchase a set of 19" forged G35 rims with super grippy tires that helps out quite a bit when hitting those corners hard. I totally reccomend this to anyone on a budget and when your stock stuts wear out then get some Illuminas. HTH
