Aftermarket struts and stock springs

I have a weird question, I was in an accident not to long ago that competely bent my front half of my unibody. I really want to keep my warranty on the fix so I dont want to change the springs but I want a better ride and was wondering if just some good aftermarket shocks with the stock springs would be worth the upgrade. Would it feel that much better to justify the money? I know you guys get angry on repost but I looked and didnt find anything so dont get mad if this is one.
Thx
Ethan

You might notice a slight improvement with changing out your shocks. A good bet would be the HP Blues on stock springs. If you search you'll be able to find what you are looking for. Also, changing your springs will not void any warranty unless the manufacturer can prove that the springs were the direct cause of the problem.

I have HP on stock springs and I am very happy now. They totally transform the car. It's no longer underdampened and the wheels stay glued to the road now. People will tell you to get Illuminas but it's a waste of money if your keeping your stock springs. I couldn't be happier with my set up now and the ride is far more controlled.

Depends on what you mean by better ride - if you're looking for a softer ride, forget it - stock struts are about as soft as you can get. If you're looking for a more controlled, connected to the road kind of ride, aftermarket struts are a nice upgrade.
