help...rubber to metal squeek when wheel turned left

car was lowered on h techs about 2 weeks ago and im not sure if the noise is related since it just strated. sounds like rubber rubbing against metal when the wheel is turned all the way left. i dont see any contact between any parts, could it be a parck & pinion issue or anything else? thanx

Sounds like the steering stop, cap, things.

I noticed that I had the noise, looked under the car, and saw where the contact (and noise was occurring). It wasn't until I read these threads that I realized there's supposed to be a plastic cap there to prevent the noise:

agreed with above. I had a similar noise and it went away when I removed the steering stops.

Its just a bolt threaded into the lower part of your knuckle that comes into contact with a portion of your control arm at full lock

unfortunately not, there is at least an inch of space even when wheel is turned all the way.

So the circled bolt in this pic doesn't contact the circled area at all?
