Please help!!!... my fuel door wont open
Anyone have any idea wat it cud be?. I hit the button, and it sounds like it wants to work, and releases, but only like a half a cm, then wen i let go of the button, it goes back. I had to call in sick to work today, cuz i close to no gas in my car. I need this fixed by sunday, but have no idea where to even start. Any input/ advise is most aprececiated. Thanks in advance>
maybe have someone hit the button while ur pulling on it with a credit card or some other thin sturdy something that can get down the opening side of the door maybe u can give it enough force to pop it open. then check to see if anything was blocking the mechanism.

Ya, i got that planned for when my cousin wakes up. ima have him help me out. I guess i was kinda hopin someone who has a similar problem could chime in and lemme know a cause, therefore i wouldnt hafta pay my mech. to work on it. Thanks tho
That happens to me every so often, what seems to happen is the latch gets caught half open. Try pushing in the door to close it all the way, then pop it again. If not try using something like a credit card to pop it open, something sturdy that won't scratch your car. Those doors werent designed all that well, so problems are bound to arise.

Thanks
I just wanna thank all of you for your input. I wasnt able to respond earlier cuz of work. I just used a credit card while my cuzin held the button. I used wd40 on it afterwards, and its never worked better. Thanks again for all of your input.

you didn't think to use your key to pull the door open once you "popped" it? Mine has been doing this for over a year now...
