hey everyone I have a question about something.

I installed the 9004 8000k hids from my old 4th gen onto my 5th gen

the light pattern is off.

they bulbs are bright but they dont light up the road right infront of the car

I was wondering what i can do to correct this

If i take out that cone shaped reflector will that help?

u need to aim them.

 

Why not put bulbs that are meant for the housing?
That will most likely make things worse.

 

What 5th gen are you talking about? '00-01 or '02+?

 

2000 5th gen i used the 9004 hids from my 4th gen

 

There should not be a real difference then. Did you remove the headlights to install or leave them in place? Some adjustments to the aiming pattern may help.

 

i didnt take the headlights off the headlight i just did all the work on the car. how do you aim them
