New Cattman exhaust question

I got Cattman B-pipe and Muffler about 2 weeks ago and I have started to notice a lot of popping and pinging of the metal as the car warms up in the mornings and cools down whenever I turn it off. Most likely this is due to expanding and contracting metals from the heat(I hope).

Has anyone else noticed these noises? Do they ever go away? If so, how long does it take(on average)?

The real reason I am worried is because amidst the pinging and popping, I can't tell if any of it is my exhaust hitting the cross-member, or maybe extra movement from the muffler(I still have stock exhaust hangers, but I plan on doing the hose clamp fix tomorrow).

I wanna make sure that the junk isn't being damaged because I think it sounds like heat expansion pinging.

Thanks

Mine pings quite a bit now too, being that it's so cold out.
I have a stock exhaust and it still pings.

The hose clamp fix is just to tighten up the rubber exhaust hangers on each side of the muffler. Some people have found that the OEM rubber hangers are too loose/soft, causing the rear section to bounce around and even rattle in various places because of that.

My Cattman/Frankencar combination exhaust "ticks" when cooling down after driving and has done so since Day 1. If you think something is rattling or rubbing, just get under the car, grab and shake the pipes in various places to see if it is hitting anything and isolate where it is doing so, then go from there.

I have had the Cattman catback for around a year and I also hear the popping and pinging after turning off the car.

My stock exhaust does the same thing, just not as loud as an aftermarket exhaust. It is caused by expansion, as you stated. If you think yours is loud, you should listen to a GTP after it is parked/turned off. They sound like a ticking time bomb! LOL
