installing new suspension

I'll be installing my eibachs and tokico illuminas during the next week or depending on work schedule and finding a good mechanic to do it. Should I be looking to change any bushings while I am at it? If so what does everyone recommend.

Actually I checked out their website but they didn't have a listing for the Maxima. Only for the control arms, shifter etc. Is there a generic one size fits all?

Exactly which "bushing" are you looking for?

I assumed there are some kind of strut bushings between the strut and the metal which it attaches to.

I'm assuming between strut and the "metal" means between the strut and the mounting bracket that goes over the spring.

For the rear, there is a bushing (or 2) but I've never heard of those having to be replaced. I guess if yours is worn, you could just get another OEM one for good measure.

For the front, there is a strut mount bearing (that has to be regreased with white lithium grease), 2 rubber seats, and a dust boot, which can all be reused, if they are in decent shape.

Some people just replace all the rubber components, but I've reused all mine so far.

I am to have new suspension installed this week! Illiminas w/H-techs. I got new bump stops and new sway bar end links to have them installed with the suspension and with the alignment i should be good.

I was going to get the sway bar bushings but they looked hard to get to, they are on the top of a frame member. Are these easily changed out??

I have yet to do it, but it looks pretty simple:
