NGK O2 sensors

I want to change my O2 sensors (all four of them) thanks to the nagging P0430. Once this code is registered my car drives like a piece of **** and it really drives me mad.

Anyway, I have heard good reviews of the NGK O2 sensors which are a direct replacement to the OEM sensors. Any suggestions to use this in place of the OEM sensors.

I have had the OEM for close to 100K miles.

Changing O2 sensors MAY NOT solve your problem, but you can try. Please let me know if P0430 won't come up after changing O2 sensors.

I have a 2003 and my oem o2 sensor has Bosch printed on it. Maybe 2000's are different.

I got my sensors and even before I got get to install them, I hit a road block.

The B2S1 (blue wired one) there is a heat sheild that is preventing access to the sensor . The 7/8" that I have cannot access the sensor -- any ideas as how I can access the first sensor or do I have to remove the heat shield and then install it. I am going to see if I can find a angled wrench ....
