Free carbon fiber hood?

I was just browsing... when I came upon this carbon fiber hood.
http://www.hyperformanceauto.com/Sei...8038C3266.aspx
As far as I know... doesn't a company LEGALLY have to sell you a product at the advertised price? If so... doesn't this mean that we could get this hood, and just pay the shipping? (If you wanted to deal with taking them to court and stuff)
Just a thought!

No. There is probably a section in their TOS about typographical errors and not being responsible for them.

Yes most co. will put in something about type-o's but if you really have a lot of free time, and want the hood, look up the laws for that state. Some states don't care about the type=o thing. They still have to sell it for that price, or they are breaking the law. Other states except the type-o remarks, but if you can prove they are only putting $0 to get people to call, but not selling them for that price, it's called bait and switch. It's not legal in some states. Thus they have to sell at the price printed.

Well... I don't really want a carbon fiber hood... so I'm not going to mess with it. However... I did go partially through the checkout procedure... and it went as far as applying shipping and I stopped when it was time for payment info... and the price never changed. I have dealt with these people before when buying an intake for my gf's jeep... and had no problem whatsoever. If anyone is going to attempt purchasing this... let us know what happens.

No, from what I saw it was only 125.00 for shipping. Kinda strange that this is still "available."

Just got off the phone with them. They no longer carry the product due to shipping expenses and other details.

LOCK THREAD.
