Wierd Car Problem...

I've had this recurring problem.

The MIL's for the ABS, TCS & SLIP will come on for a few days...then will go off for a few days.

Car seems fine. No rough idle and runs pretty smooth. The only thing I sense a little off is my mpg.

The other day my SES MIL also comes on to join the rest of the MIL's so now i"m like wtf.

Last night I had a friend come over and we drove to Autozone (he drove since I dont have my license yet).

We start the car and it starts beautifully as it always does which leads me to believe that it is NOT an alternator problem. Dome lights are fine and the car feels like it has full charge.

But this time only the SES MIL is on and the TCS, ABS, & SLIP lights are all OFF. So again....I'm like "wtf".

I go to Autozone and I pull the codes. P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1). If I've done my research correctly there is a TSB on this particular code which requires the reflashing of my ECU at NO CHARGE to me because it falls under the 80K emissions warranty as well as the TSB.
Am I mistaken here?

Going to my local dealership to honor this TSB will be a trying experince. They're gonna give me some BS and point to my catback...I just know it.

But aside from that....does anyone know what's going on with my other MIL's?
What does it mean when the ABS, SLIP & TCS MIL's come on for a period of time and then go off for a period of time.

Anybody else have this problem? CAn any of the resident experts offer some input or a suggested course of action on this?

Thanks

It's possible that you have two different problems. Possibly an abs problem and an 02 problem. IIRC, the 3 lights come on for two different reasons
1.) ECU or ABS computer isnt reading correct info from the sensors.
2.) Bad engine mis. (one you would most likely notice.)
This is what I've gathered from the board, so take it with a grain of salt.
