Worried My Clutch Might Be Going Out

Sometimes when taking off in first gear i hear a low pitched sound when my clutch is about halfway engaged...the sound goes away when i fully depress the clutch pedal...does this sound like the clutch may be going bad? also instead of starting a new thread i notice that many .org members run hotshot headers and i am very interested in purchasing some however i am wondering about how much i should be looking to spend? should i bring the car to any muffler shop to get the work done?Is the Apexi tuner necessary in order to make my car run correctly(worried about air-fuel ratio)?

What kind of sound? If you can get a recording of it life would be easier.

i have no way to provide a recording its just a low toned sound...almost like a car with bad suspension would make if u turned it too hard but its very low-pitched as opposed to a squealing high pitched sound

Some sort of bearing or mainshaft? It's impossible to diagnose stuff like this over the internet for me.

He's got the symptoms of a TO bearing but they make high pitched squeals, not low moans.

My OEM clutch hummed before I replaced it. It never slipped but it needed replacement.
