Has anyone noticed that their air conditioning compressor on their Max's is loud? It might just be that it was on full blast but I started my car and turned on the auto recirculate climate control. Since it's like 95 freaking degrees here in Arkansas, it went full blast. When I walked to the front of the car, it sounded much louder than any other car I have had. Is this normal? Just wanting to make sure it is. If so, I'm surprised its so loud. Nice cute car pulling up beside you with a thundering compressor, hehehe...not the perfect image!

 

yea, I get it too.

I turned on my car, and went around the front to checkout my headlights, and had the a/c running.

thing is loud. maybe someone will think its a loud powerful engine or something

Yeah, mine is pretty loud also. It amplifies the CAI's sucking sound when I give it very light throttle.

 

Yea mine is loud to! Especially around 3000 rpm. People seem to look to... good thought... maybe it sounds like a little somethin special under the hood!

Mine Max has 7000 miles on it and it didnt seem to do it at first. Funny but I was just going to post a thread about this!

 

Mine is kind of loud also. But I never really paid much attention to it. As long as it is working, it's all good
