Car Sputters and really laggy..
So I threw a p0171 code which meant I was running too lean..Well I cleared the code and then today my car started acting really strange..When I hit 3000rpm it started shaking really bad and staggering..So I hooked up the scanner again and it said no codes found all clear. Then I started it up again and it started revving hella high and it wasn't really accelerating. My friend said it's the ignition coils. I think it might be something else..Also I have a place racing cai and still y and greddy catback...Anyone know what could be going on, and if it's going to be expensive to fix?

0171 is the notorious code that quite a few people have gotten when their maf was on its last leg or already dead. typically when a coil is bad, you will receive some sort of misfire code and/or a blinking cel light which indicates a misfire. unfortunately, both were problematic issues but with that code, i would lean towards to the maf. no pun intended.

lol nice pun! But if it was a MAF wouldn't my car not be able to go over 30mph? My car revs high and it takes honda times to hit 60 but it does it..It has a hard time doing it and it shakes and the car shifts hard doing it. I also noticed a huge stain in the garage. I think my car is leaking something, the stain was already dried so I'm not sure on that..But yeah what else could it be? Ignition coils? I'm not throwing any codes anymore either, the scanner said it was clear..
