So far 1, but my check engine light just went on (please read the thread) and I hope i'm not on for #2!

My car went in for service a while back for an injector flush, and they told me that they recomend a MAF cleaning................I've never heard about it but tried it.........after that the car wouldn't start on the first try so I returned to them, and let them put in a new one since I was still under warranty.

It seems that the 2000 yr maximas have the most MAF problems.

first 2 stock intake, next 1 basic wai , next 1 intake with filte moved under battery compartment but with a kinda cheap filter, last one with the same intake witha hks filter. my sixth is gonna go on my place racing with a brand new K&N cone. hope this one lasts longer. and yes most of these were the newer 01style.

i only threw a code once, all the rest of the times i could tell by performance and mileage. and the $$$ computer the dealer uses.

i would check the harness for a bent or dirty pin. what computer is the dealer using that shows the maf is bad when you arent throwing a code?

still on factory w/ 51k miles... i think you guys make a bigger deal out of it than it really is... then again the AM600 that late 02's and all 03s came w/ (as well as altimas and g35s etc etc) is a decent sensor imo...

reuse the stock flex piece to connect your intake piping to the TB... i noticed this helps w/ any vibration or engine-rocking issues
