LSS Exhaust
just to let you know, i helped a buddy install his ypipe from them and we had a lot of fitment issues with it. check the gaskets they send too, the ones they sent him were bent in half. just to let you know of my expirience with them, not to bash them.
true, thanks for the info. I have been reading countless threads trying to decide who to go with (if you didnt pick cattman) and it seemed that budget was the better one. soon i'll have an opinion, plus I need a alignment and oil change - I might try to work out a deal to see if I can get this put on while they work on my car. I would feel better if a pro installed it and they would prob have better ideas if it does have fitment issues. hope it works well.. cant wait!
He bought the budget ypipe... they are now called lss exhaust. the site is www.lssexhaust.com
Ok got my Ypipe.. But have a question before I install it this week. The back side of the y pipe (where it meets the main cat) the flange peice is slanted, like this \======###.. I just tried to draw u what it looks like. its not perpendicular to the pipe. is it supoe to be like that? didnt come with instructions or anything, even though its simple but still ya know!!: light bulbs come with instructions...

However, if you have a fed spec, the flange might appear to be somewhat slanted. Here is a picture from Cattman's website of a fed spec ypipe for your reference:
cool thanks for the picture. The flange is perpendicular to the pipe, or atleast the axis i am talkin about. i wish i could add a picture cuz then it would make sence. the flange peice on that pic looks straight, mine is slanted. but where the pipe has the bend in your picture mine does not have that, maybe this is budget's way of doing it.
Ok got my pipe on! Went to a shop to have it done, plus i needed an oil change. I def feel more power and the rpm's rise faster in the high end. It's about half as loud as i thought it was going to be, and now i have a little exhaust note. I dont hear any "bees" but with the windows closed and max throttle and high rpm's i do hear a faint hissing noise. but u would have to listen for it to hear it, no problems at all. Went on fine, they cut my old one up so it would fit in their dumpster so there's no turnin back. its only been on for a few hours so I dont have a full review, but so far so good!
