Alarm malfunction

My '02 6spd does not make the sound when I lock the car with the remote. Alarm & panic button works. Any suggestion?

Hold you Lock and unlock keys for like 10 sec. untill the lights blink. Try it out by pressing lock and unlock. that should do it if you you have the original keyfob.

BUMP....The directions are actually on the back of your key fob how to do that.
