Which rims to buy for my 5th gen?

hey guys,
iam looking to buy some rims for my car...
after i dropped it, the max is just asking for some better rims....
the painted oem 16" ones are not bad, but the space between the rim and the end of the tire is huge...looks ugly....
the chromes are ugly also, especially on the max, and they weight 60lbs with the tires.....tires are TOYO, idk the size, and they look really nice.....
so i'll keep the tires, and use them on new rims that i get....
now my question is, what rims should i get....
iam going to keep it 17", i wont go any bigger....
here are my choices.....
CHOICE 1: http://www.edgeracing.com/2000/Nissan/Maxima/wheel/297/
CHOICE 2: http://www.edgeracing.com/2000/Nissan/Maxima/wheel/353/
CHOICE 3: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/17-AD...52491113QQrdZ1
CHOICE 4: http://www.edgeracing.com/2000/Nissa...ma/wheel/2339/
CHOICE 5:http://www.edgeracing.com/2000/Nissa...ma/wheel/2000/
are any of those rims above bad, good? do any of you have them, pls post pics.....thanks a lot guys
huso

chice # 5

They are very light, match maxima style, look good, and they are cheap. But try doing some research on them before buying. Many cheap lightweight wheels bend very easily.

I heard about Flik - did a google search.

Heard they bend pretty easy. They're made in an Asian country (not japan)

#5 out of those, but 18s would be a better size...your going to get 17s, and with a low profile tire, your going to have less overall diameter than stock 17s, which means HUGE wheel gap, its gonna look weird.

Flik seems like they are your typical knockoff rim manufacturer..those look like an ADR knockoff.

ok lol....
if i get 17's my overall diamater wont be smaller than my 16s...its actually lil bitt bigger...i do not have low pro tires rite now...and i dont want to go low pro...
and iam being cheap because iam 17yrs old lol...and going 18s, i think thats waste of money rite now, since i have brand new tires "toyo" which i paid over 500 bucks for, and i dont want to buy another 18" tires plus rims, and wate whole bunch of money...that is why iam being so cheap lol......
and i'll do some reasearch, there is more time for me till i get enough money to get rims...but idk, i like falken rims a lot...and iam sticking to 17s no matter what...
huso
thx guys

I like #3 and #5. 5's a little better though I think. Speaking of wheels, I rotated my tires today and holy crap these stock 17's are heavy! Have any of you guys that have gone aftermarket, lighter wheels noticed an acceleration difference in the car? Lol, the stocks seem extremely heavy to me.

check out this article: https://maxima.org/modules.php?name=30_comparisons

it's just amazing how much difference lightweight wheels make.

I have the Flik FTD. I did my homework before buying them and the bottom line is... they dont bend easily. They are very lightweight.

I dunno if theres a boundary to label tires as "low profile"....but I think 235/45/17 is considered low profile...and i calculated that a 235/45/17 is EXACTLY the same overall diameter as 215/55/16 (stock se tires/rims)...unless the tires are a different size

they are not 100% same andrew....there is a lil difference only....
cant really see it, i had to use tape measure to find the difference....
but when i was buying my tires, i told the "tire company" that I didnt want to go on rubber bands, and feel every bump....
thats how i got the toyos

well if you say they aren't for sure the same size....then your tires on the SE rims are not 215/55/16....cuz i calculated on my tire calculator...both 235/45/17 and 215/55/16 are exactly the same...
