Not sure why you would want the stock horn...I think the horn on my nephew's moped sounds better.

Yeah. The max horn, just like every other Japanese car, has a lot to be desired. Way too polite for North America. My much smaller Dodge Omni had a bigger badder sounding horn.

IMO, American cars have the best horns. I've been meaning to hunt through some junkyards and start pulling horns from different cars, especially Caddies and Lincolns. Buicks and Mercs have decent horns, too. The meep-meep horn on the 5th gen Max sounds really stupid. My 4th gen sounds better than that (although not by much).

Get the 300Z horns...they're loud and sound perfect on the Max. That's what I have in mine. Hella's are also good.
