Will the keys intended for 5.5 gen (part # H0564-5y700) work on my 2000?

Yes it will work. I just talked to Dave Burnette about the exact same thing 2 weeks ago.

 

Thanks stardust and every1 else who responded. Now I dont have to hassle with the ebay seller. What's crazy is that he advertised the correct part # for the 00-01 max and showed the correct pic but sent me the key for 02-03. Go figure- its ebay.

 

Does anybody know if a 02-03 keyless entry remote will work for a 2000?

I hate to bring this back but does anyone know how long it takes for the dealership to program and cut a key? Is it same day?
