Maybe I will try cranking up the volume for that benefit. We will see (Fatmat on the rear deck helps for that one)

 

I'm kinda confused a little. On slide 18 and 21 on the updated powerpoint, it states ground #6 goes to #8 (NEGATIVE TERMINAL) but on slide 25 you show ground #8 as being the (ground behind the battery tray), and #9 as the negative terminal ground. So would slide 20 be from #7 ground to the negative terminal or the ground behind the battery tray? I think it's from slide 20 on up is where you'll probably have to clarify the ground points between 8 and 9. By the way thanks for taking the time to make this powerpoint.

Yes I made the correction on slide number 18 to read "#6 goes to Chassis Ground) point #8
Also, The slide shows the ground wire that goes from #7 (engine ground) to #8 chassis ground behind battery tray. It just shows how the ends of the grounding wire should look with the 1/4 terminal ring and the 3/8 terminal ring.

The Alternator to the engine ground is on slide 15 and 17
The Enigine ground is on slide 19, 20, and 22
The Transmission ground is on slide 28, 29, 30

ok so maybe i counted wrong but...there are 9 grounds in total now correct??? also, do u remember how long each wire was?? i think im gonna do this project very soon...awesome job btw

 

Does anyone have this done for a VQ30? If so i'd love to see some grounding points. I've been thinking about doing this to my 2000 I30, but i can't seem to rule out which grounds are where. Any help as to this would be appreciated. By the way, great presentation,i hope we see more of these interactive 21st century presentations that we can easily find and have available.

hahaha thanks alot man, yeah, i try to go through the FAQs as much as possible, it's just i've got the fifth gen VQ in my 2000 I30 which i know isn't much different but i don't really go to the 4th gen forums. I'll start doin that thanks.
