i need new rotors whats the best to buy or what last the longest

Before blaming on the front rotors check with your rear brakes first. Sometime rear brakes dont do their jobs and send all work load up to the fronts. The front brakes work much harder than they were designed to, frequent failure as the result.

i have brembo crossed drilled and love them

but if u get drilled, slotted, or blanks try to stick with brembo

brembo blanks....

but when do the rear brakes ever really need to work? Aren't they basically just the e-brake

what about the ebay brakes anybody use the ones thats drilled and slotted 149.00 for all four great price i know you get what you pay for

I installed rotors with slashes. What do you think of those?

garbage. slotted/XD'd rotors are weaker than stock, and the ebay ones are probably made of cheap Chinese steel....

Those are called "slotted" rotors. They are fine, assuming you bought good quality ones.

I personally say go with "blanks" (Brembo or OEM) and make sure to use a good quality pad, to minimize overheating and material transfer/buildup on the rotors. Get Hawk HPS pads.

Sup pplz i have a question for you guys.....will STI front rotors and brake calipers work on my 02 maxima??? My friend just wrecked his STI and gave me his whole from brake set-up...reall intrested in finding out if it works... if so umma put them on this weekend.... please if u guys know of any modifications i might need to do....pm wit the info... appreciate it in advance.
