illuminas with stock springs

i am about to purchase illuminas from a member, i would like to know how is the ride with ILLUMINAS and STOCK SE springs on a 2000. I don't want to lower my car so i'm not looking to buy new springs. and since i'm changing my struts what should i buy new for the installation. i know people purchase KYB bump-stops, should i get those. i looked on cattman and they are like 70 bucks any one knows a cheaper place. besides bump stops anything else i need to purchase to make this transition as best as possible.
thanks.

Ive got the illuminas on with H&R's up front with the stock springs on the rear. Love the stance and the rear no longer bottoms out under load. Now the fronts bottoming out, thats a different story.....

I just installed Illuminas with my stock SE springs. They improved the way the car handles drastically! I get very little body roll now too. I have all the struts set to #3 and this seems to be what I like most so far. It's definitely a stiffer ride than my old struts but I like it a lot better. I think this setup makes the car feel perfect, but I've never driven a Max with sport springs so I can't say it's better.

Like someone said above though, my back doesn't bottom out anymore but the front still does, even on bumps that other cars don't bottom on. The Illuminas did help the front though, and it does bottom out on fewer things now.

I have HP on stock springs and I don't get any bottoming out. The ride is perfect and body roll has been reduced. All I need now is to replace the crappy Nitto 450 which are the worst tires in the world. I 'd rather have the stock potenzas back....
