Grill
#1
Is there a post that talks about how to remove the grill from the 5th gen Max? I was trying to do it today to ease my tranny cooler install, but no luck. I removed the 4 clips on top and the rectangle one just left (when facing) of the middle, but it feels like it is one piece with the front bumper assembly. I know that can't be true, buy I couldn't find a way to get the grill off. If you can point me to a post or if anyone else knows how, please let me know.
Thanks a lot,
Matt

it's safer to attempt the grill removal proccess by removing the whole bumper first, ahem like some have done already. cut from the inside first i personally like the rim, so i'm thinking of just carefully painting that rim black and some how fitting the honeycomb grill material in there so it looks like it's a part of it. a good thing to use to hold the grill in place might be either, fiberglass resin, abs glue, bondo?, not screws unless you can hide the, and paint them black.
