So you buy it for $30 and then buy an Apexi filter. Ends up being around $90. Instead of paying Berk $180.

Thought about that, but wouldn't really save me much money. I'm guessing the winning bid is going to be somewhere around $50 plus about $10 s&h. Apexi filter is $75 plus $5 shipping. Now you're at $140 and you still haven't bought the $30 APEXi filter adapter that comes with the Berk kit. So thats a total of about $170. Probably just smarter to pay the extra $17 bucks and get everything, brand new, in one package.

yea im trying to get it on ebay. so no one bid! -=P
but yea.. does the apexi filter get that much more performance?
it's just that i lost the scoop hold-down pieces so it keep coming off on the tube right after it and its giving me a SES light cuz inefficient airflow to the cat.

I don't think the APEXi is going to increase performance, but with all the MAF sensor problems, I've decided to spend the extra money and get the dry instead of the oiled filter so I don't take the risk of blowing my MAF sensor.

That sure does look like a Berk. The only problem I see is that the midpipe is for an 02/03.
