Urgent: Uneasy bounce from front of car at slow speeds (like struts are shot)

My car shakes and engine wobbles at slow speeds and the tranny shifts are no longer smooth.
I just replaced my front struts and everything was fine till 2 days back and the symptoms now are close to when my struts was about to give way.
I got under and checked the mounts and they are not leaking and look pretty good. I was told to check the mounts by engaging the parking brake and increasing throttle, I did see the engine block go forward and up an inch and when the throttle was released it came down.
I checked if the struts with the "bounce" test and the rear doesn't bounce. So, I am pretty sure the struts are in good shape.
I am left with no option but to take the car to the dealer to diagnose the problem. Am I looking at the huge bill?
