Valve Cover replaced under Powertrain...

this is more of a heads up to those who dont' have time or aren't mechanically inclined. i was doing my spark plugs last week and noticed oil when i pulled out my coil pack, specifically rear bank, drivers side. for the record, a search of this forum shows that majority of the people have it in that same location, so it seems to be common.

anywho, took it to the dealer at 39k miles. diagnosed as cracked VC and leaky gasket. under the powertrain warranty, they replaced BOTH valve covers, BOTH gaskets, and the crush gasket by the collector. the service at the dealer is a totally different conversation, but the job got done. i picked it up earlier this morning. i could tell a difference immediately as i've always had a rough idle (which was confusing as the car was at such low mileage). i assume this to be due to a not fully functioning coil pack/ spark plug/ cylinder. my idle is smooth now and the car seems fine.
