Headlight acting up...

Sounds like the bulb isn't seating right in the socket and is losing ground connection. Did you try swapping the light bulb from the other side and see if the problem still prevails? Or maybe the bulb is starting to go bad? Also, check the wires going to the headlight and see if there are any loose connections.

it seems like a problem i used to have....my solution: rewire some "high temperature" sockets from advanced auto or wwhatever and make some good connections, soldering would be the best, but be sure to heat shrink or tape it. Or you can use quick connects not a bad idea but you might have some issues later as they age because the stock harness is a different gauge of thickness than the "high temperature" sockets. My suggestion is to ground the new wire on the chasis while youre at it, this will improve your headlamps performance.

i had that issue with my 2k2-3 headlights.... i had bad grounds... mite be suttin u wanna check out? and my friend had the same problem on his celica... he had to hit it for it to work... ended up being that his socket was burned slightly due to the aftermarket light bulbs...
