Question about Tokico springs

I just went through the supension sticky and I also visited Tokico's website and didn't find any info. I am planning to change out my suspension. I've been riding on Eibach for a few years and am looking for a softer ride and still keep the "look". I was going to do a GD on H&R's and possibly change from HP's to Ilumina's. I just saw Tokico Suspension Kits on the GD thread. This kit has Tokico springs. Has anyone here had any experience with Tokico springs? How would they compare to H&R's as far as lowering and ride. I would think that having springs "matched" to the shocks/struts would be good, but not sure about how low and what kind of ride. Anyone? Thanks.

ive never heard of Tokico springs for the Max. I didnt really care to investigate them, owing to the fact of the great reviews for the H&R's. Just get the Illuminas and the H&R's and be happy

Ditto! Well at least for the 5th Gen's .Tokico have springs for 4th Gen's I believe they are made by Vogtland.

For 5th Gen's H&R and Progress seem to be the flavour of the day, Maxspeeds used to be. I had Illumina's on my 4th gen and loved them, but I agree with regarding the Eibachs as I had those on my 4th gen too, thank god I had the Illumina's to even things out a little. Currently running Maxspeeds with KYB GR2's good soft ride, only dissapointment is they tend to bottom out quickly on speed bumps.

Thanks. It would be interesting to know if these are actually made by Vogtland. Are Vogtland's comparable to H&R's regarding drop and ride quality?

Tokico doesn't make springs for 5th gens.

I believe there are only two people on the org who have Vogtland, bigfatty and IWNTMORHP!!. Check out the thread linked in my sig if you want to know what they think about their setups. (bigfatty - post #4 IWNTMORHP!! - post # 36)

In the GD section, there is a group deal on suspension parts. I didn't know that Tokico had springs either, but under Tokico, they are selling Tokico suspension kits ( both Ilumina and HP). I went to Tokico's website and the suspension kits include springs and shocks/struts. However, they don't give any info about springs. $650 for suspension kit with Ilumina's seemed like a fair deal if the springs are any good Just trying to gather info. Thanks for the link. I will check it out. Justin also gave me a number to call Tokico, which I'm going to do.
