M3

There is no 2000 M3, so it had to be a 99 or lower hehe. 2001 is the beginning of the E46 style, and 95-99 (94 if you include the 150 or so that were sent to Canada as 1994 model years) was the E36 style.

Yep, I was in the Max... would have been a kill in any of my other car... but I wouldn't bore you guys with non-Maxima related issues
Could I have hung with him if I had my OSCAI, UDP and Y-pipe... I know, I should have got a 5 speed

Yup. With my setup (minus RT Cat) I hung with one.

I'm now officially a retard, not that there was ever any doubt. Mom's is a 99. Just assumed 2K cause she picked it up in Oct. 99 and it had just been delivered to the dealer (or so they said). But if you stayed within 1-2 lengths, that's some damn fine driving on your part, cause they are FAST, even with only 240hp. Much faster than a Grand Am SE....

Considering he has 13 more ponies 300 lbs lighter and a stick, guess I wasn't embarrassed to badly
Thanks for the confidence builder, nc00max!
Well, at least it wasn't a CL-S

well, if there had been a CL-S nearby, you have both gotten your asses handed to you! He would've been gone by like 10 car lengths before you got to 60! And that's assuming he had 4 pax, full tank, and pulling a trailer with a yacht behind him. Lucky for you guys....

I was going to comment on this but didn't bother. Your mom didn't know what year her car was when she bought it? It says right on the ownership the year of the car. Yes the the M3 is faster than an Grand Am.. that comment made me laugh.

I'm sure she knew, but always refers to it as "the new car" or the M3. "The old car" was a 328i. I never bothered to check my facts on it, and just figured it was a 2K. The Grand Am sucks ***! It's the "SE2" (V6), but it feels like a damn Metro or something. At least I know I will never have to be afraid of this car or the Grand Am GT (175 & 180 hp?) without some serious mods. Only one more horrible week. Then I get back to Charlotte and put my FSTB on. I'm hoping that'll make up for this week...
