Helios HID and DRL (Daytime Running Light)

Background Info:
I have a stock 2000 Maxima SE

I'm not sure if this question has been covered before, but I did a search on google, and couldn't find the answer. So my question is:

The Helios Hi-Low kit, NOT THE BI-XENON, just the Hi Halogen / Low HID kit or any other Hi/Low H4 Kit, After I install them, do I lose DRL that is supposed to come on the High Beam?

Did anyone have any setup (besides converting to 5.5 lights) that does not affect the DRL?

And does anyone rewire the fog or driving lights to be used as DRLs?

Thank you all!

your audience may be limited there, as only canada had DRL's.
