wow ive had 4 people in my car with the AC blasting...and it still has plenty of power....i wouldnt call the max a boat...there are def cars that are boats..the max is not one. now if you have an automatic...maybe i could understand.....manual is the way to go....downshift...gone haha.

I have been running premium fuel since I bought my Max and from what I can tell, by running premium fuel, you will get more miles to the gallon. So for the extra $3-4 per fillup, chances are you are actually going farther on a tank of gas. All in all, if you calculated the miles per tankful, premium fuel pays for itself.

Why not treat your max to the better fuel. It will pay off in the long run.

ok guys my car is at almost at a slight tad above..... soo what should i get premium from the cheap compitiors or go with techron and all that other crap

Nope, it was fine right to the pump. It was nice and light, so power was good!
I was pretty nervous though since the gas needle was basically resting on the stopper under the E.

I don't recommend this practice btw.....I just make a habit of pushing everything to the limit.

That little DTE feature is nice but not that big of a deal. Most all newer cars have it that are above base model. The manufacturers definitely leave a margin of error. When it reads 0 there is still something left in there. Imagine how pissed people would be if it said DTE 1 mile and they ran out of gas onthe side of the road!
