New Clutch/Flywheel Question, also SES light Question

Hey guys,

I need to replace my flywheel, and while im at it, I might as well change the clutch also. Does anyone here have any opinions or reviews on any of the packages out there? the only one I found is the ACT clutch/flywheel package from Stillen.

In addition, I just got this code today

P1335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor (REF)

Could this be related to the fact that my flywheel needs to be replaced? I checked the FAQ threads and no one (at least no one reported it) has experienced this yet, so I figured I'd ask.

Thanks guys!

SES is probably related to flywheel problem. The sensor reads off the flywheel so it would make sence.

What's wrong with the flywheel that it needs to be replaced?

The type of driving you do and your mods will determine the clutch setup you need. Give us some more info so we can help.

The flywheel experience some damage from a malfunctioning starter that I experienced over the winter, at the time I did not have the funds to replace the starter, flywheel and clutch (My brother (a mechanic) and my mechanic both agreed if I was going to replace the flywheel I might as well replace the clutch since it you have to open the trans up to get to either of them. I believe my mechanic said that the flywheel had some "scoring" from the starter not disengaging from the flywheel.

The other day my battery finally kicked the bucket and I replaced it with an optima red top, and this seems to only exaserbated the problem with the flywheel cause 4 start ups after replacing the battery the SES light came on and the car failed to kick over about 9 times out of 10 on the first turn on the key with some god aweful noise.

my driving style is spirited?..lol...I take her to the track some times to see how my quartermile is but mostly she's a daily driver.

hope this helps
