HOW-TO: Add LED visor lights!
Alright, just as a forewarning, I rate this mod a 10/10 in LED difficulty. The actual install is very easy and straightforward, BUT, getting everything together is another story.
(1) Remove the visors. Pry off the larger clip with a flathead screwdriver. Remove the two phillips head screws. Unclip the power lead.
(2) Using your flathead, pry the bottom most section of the mirror assembly up and out.
(3) Pull the power wires out of the OEM assembly. They pull right out, albiet with some minor resistance.
(4) Tear the carboard backing OFF of the OEM visor. There is no turning back now. Cut off the clips for the OEM bulbs. Using a hot glue gun, glue the OEM leads back into place.
(5) Make your LED assemblies. Using PCB, cut a rectangle that is about 14 x 3 (holes). Wire the LEDs in series (+) to (-). Put a 33 ohm resistor on the (-) end and leave some length.
(6) If you are using 3mm LEDsm skip this step. IF NOT, you will need to chop off the tops of the LEDs using a dremel. I prefer this method as I can use bigger and brighter LEDs.
(6) Now, this is what you should have...

...you will see a pseudo circut. FOR THE DRIVER SIDE, the top leg is the positive, the bottom leg the negative. You will see a small peice of copper on the mirror cover. This peice completes positive lead when opened. You may need to bend the pins a touch in order to make this function as normal.
(7) Solder the respective ends as you see below to complete the circut.

(8) Test by opening the cover and supplying power to the OEM leads.
(9) Reinsert the OEM wires, and enjoy!
PASSENGER SIDE:
(1) The leads are reversed. Negative is top, positive is bottom. Don't ask me why.
IF YOU BREAK THE OEM COPPER CONNECTOR
Prepare for hell. You will need to glue a small peice of wire onto the end of the OEM plastic. THEN, you will need to cut is and fashion it such that when the mirror opens, it completes the circut. THIS IS NOT FUN, SO BE D'AMN CAREFUL!!!!
