As we have spoken offline (Epacy), Don is around and this project is still progressing.

haha no prob...i wanna include everybody on this list....so epacy can show the company that we are interested in this product...and maybe get better pricing if u know what i mean...but first and foremost, 6spd hayes' dyno for sure!

best advice, spread the word to other fellow 3.5L members...and get them to sign up on the list....remember they are not obligated to put down a deposit or anything...just express interest in a dyno....it will benefit both us and the company...

 

I wish they hurry up with the dyno results. I want to get the TS ECU but I want to see if this is worth buying now or go ahead and buy the ECU. I don't want to buy the ECU now and have to retune it for the spacers. Arrgghh I have to be patient.

Phenolic gasket =/ spacer. Also, how/what would you retune? What parameters would need to be altered re: the gaskets?

 

I don't understand how gaskets would alter tunning. All they are suppose to do is cool the air going in.

I am clueless on a/f talk and tuning. I thought if the gaskets are going to free up hp/tq or add hp/tq by decreasing temps wouldn't I have to re-tune the TS ECU that will be currently based off of the my a/f and dyno read out that I currently have.

Supposedly, they want me to send in my ECU with my current mods list and a dyno chart/graph with my a/f of my car before they tune my ECU to the L spec $495 TS ECU with my current mods. If the gaskets do give our cars more hp/tq and my dyno results after the gaskets install are different, wouldn't I have to send in my ECU again to have them adjust my ecu to the current changes? I don't know, I am clueless. I am just cautious now because I don't want to blow $495 on the TS ECU and then install the gaskets and then TS has retune the ECU again.

these gaskets are great and we have tested them on our dyno to see great results.

If you come up here with a statement like that with no run files and no graphs you will be permanantly banned and flamed... especially with the intensity of this thread. Well.... maybe not banned but you better come up with some dyno graphs quick before the hounds attack.

for that price, they are worth it without dyno proof. even if there isnt a huge power gain, your engine will run cooler which is always a good thing
