do I need to upgrade the whole projectors with HIDS or can I just upgrade the blubs

I have projectors with HIDs in them but I was thinking about upgraded them to a little bit bighter in the future. I already have the HID kit with 6000k but I was gonna see if I can just upgrade the bulbs or if I have to go with a whole nother HID Kit/Projectors to get them brighter. I really like the look of mine and don't want to get rid of them if I can help it.

If you want to go brighter, change the bulbs to a lower K rating. Most stock HID's come in 4200K which offers better output than 6000K.

to answer your question...YES you must change the projectors to accomodate the HID bulbs...if you don't your car will be a hazard to other drivers at night, because oncoming traffic will be blinded...
