Car Alarm

My car was broken into tonight, I ran outside and caught the guy sitting in my front seat tampering with the ignition. No broken windows or damaged keyholes so I'm not sure exactly how he opened the door. But anyways, I'm interested in getting an aftermarket alarm. I've been told about the pressure sensitive types but I'm wondering what other's opinions are.
