please tell the owner of this car to paint the spoiler black so it could match and look less ricy.
And I dont like the single tip on the Maxima either.

So to make it look less ricey paint the spoiler black, so it won't match the color of the car or the cf trunk. Nice thinking

you dont get my point. the spoiler throws off the CF. The CF is already different from the color of the car. Black matches the CF

His car is silver. I see your point and it won't work. CF isn't a true black. Look at kc's car if you paint it black then its going to look off. You have a silver car with a cf trunk and a black spoiler. Not going to look good IMO

The CF Trunk don't sit flush unless you adjust from the inside of the trunk while the trunk is closed.

A question for all of the CF people here... does CF chip? I am completely ignorant when it comes to carbon fiber. I am shying away from black 5.5 Maxima's because of the rock chip factor but I am wondering if I got a black Maxima and replaced the hood with a CF hood solely for the rock chips, would that even help?

What kind of weight savings do CF trunks offer over the stock ones? I'd hope it'd be a significant reduction...

On the chipping aspect it depends the quality like everything else. CF is painted withcoat of clear coat. To blunt trauma cf takes stuff really well. My bro has one and had me hurl a baketball (not recommended) as hard as I could the thing just took it not dent. I played high school ball in fact some pitching any normal hood would have dented right up. Cf really impressed me that day. Now I do know however when it is periced it tends to hold up less than metal. It sometimes suffers a splintering effect. However CF parts and after market parts sometimes cheaper than oem. Hopes this helps.

you could always get the replica CF spoiler from ionic dynamics as well to match the trunk...
