Positive or Negative Ground

Is the 2000 Maxima positive or negative ground as far as the electrical system goes? Thanks.

Every car has a positive terminal and negative ground on the battery...

EDIT: after Google...nevermind, now I understand the original question.

eww..
ok in the electron/scientific theory, it travels from negative to positive, so power from negative side and ground is positive

in conventional/modern day theory where all electricity works, power is from positive side and ground is negative

Its negative, useless fact some British car makers from way back when used the chassis as a postive ground. So it has been done that way just not anymore.

Negative, I don't think there has been a positive ground car (Chryslers and British Leylands) since the 60s or maybe the early 70s in North America.

SoonerFan.......quit screwing around. Not everyone is a Maxi techno geek, and there are people here with little basic mechanical knowledge, and if they did swap the POS. and NEG. battery leads could cause expensive damage to their car.
