which rear sway?

well i was going to buy the Progress rear sway until i seen $50+ shipping which is ridiculous for a $130 part. anyone else have a place they go to i can get it cheaper, or with a group deal or something?

I have to agree... I've had a progress on for about a year now with no problems. Good quality and easy install. Can't remember the price, but I know it was very reasonable.

Go to the GD forum. Cattman has it for 119 shipped?

119 shipped is nice, cattman and progress are the same, i think the stillen is diff, and not as solid. try to find a used one.

Dude that is such a sweet deal. I paid like 140 or 145 shipped and that was the best deal around at the time so 119 is great and I would pick the progress RSB before any of the others. As any of the ones that are better are only marginally better if at all and MUCH more expensive

Cattman is a good not so expansive RSB. Stillen is much more expansive but it's stiffer and does not use bushings in it's design. Stillen knock-off is even stiffer than stillen and it's also cheaper, but I think it is too stiff for anything but coilovers.

what makes you say that? I have the Stillen sway bar, and no coilovers...

Stillen knock-off is too stiff, not Stillen. I think I saw BEJEY1's post where he said that it's 40% stiffer than the real Stillen.

too stiff?? Thats hard to imagine. The only play in the progress RSB is in the poly bushings, cause the bar is VERY solid and my car still understeers A TON!

I am hoping with the springs and the RSB I should be able to get the back end to slide if I really try.

you serious, FSTB is my only handling mod and my car has a very minimal understeer. I can easily get the tail to slide by trailbraking. That's also the reason why I still haven't installed RSB.

I am totally serious my car understeers mercilessly. Even when I am driving it just messin around my front tires slide before my rear tires are even feeling the force of the corner, and its not like I drive that hard so its pretty silly. Once I get the new tires on there I think that will help, and also people say the Eibach springs are the only ones where the back end will start to come around on you a little bit so I'm excited. Hopefully after I'm done suspension work I can post some videos of of the car sliding sideways controllably(I know I'm smoking crack, that would never happen in a maxima, but I can dream)

BTW if anything the FSTB made my car understeer worse than stock, but I dont regret it, it still formed up the feeling of the front end

very interesting... My car understeered like a beytch before, and FSTB eliminated most of the understeer. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that yours is Infiniti or that it's automatic?

BTW, there's actually a video of drifting 5th gen somewhere online. I saw it like a year ago.

Supposedly the vq35 is heavier and I am not sure if your manual or auto but autos deff weigh more, more weight up front could make a difference but it shouldent make that much difference. I really think its cause I still have the stock tires on there
