Will 02 Place Racing intake fit 00 Maxima?

Will 02 Place Racing intake fit 00 Maxima?
I'm actually just planning to use the downpipe, not the midpipe section. Does anyone know if they are compatible, or what the difference is between the two, apart from the vacuum line attachments?

I think the only difference may be the vacuum tubes on the midpipe - 3.5 just has one, and the 3.0 has three. I won't be using the midpipe anyhow, so it'll probably work fine.....

What are you going for Irish. I was looking at doing a set up using custom piping. I'm trying to get the intake down into the fender well like the Cattman but take the piping all the way threw the bumper to the front. Running into a lot of problems such as the fog lamps front bumper filling and so on still working on it though.

well I went back to the wai, basically removing the thing every 5k miles for cleaning got annoying. it takes a good 20 minutes just to get it out... even if you go straight from the outside to just unscrew the filter and get it out through a gap in the plastic... in the winter it sux, wasnt worth it for me.
on the other hand it sounds nice, I also a small elbow extension made by obx so that the filter wouldn't be pressed against the fender plastic and get more air. I also driled a few 2 inch holes from the buttom of the car for more flow...
I pland on using that PR fender extension in the future to just draw air from the fender well, and I want to build a heat shield so that even though the filter will be in the engine bay, the air will still be drawn from the fender well...
edit: forgot to mention that it gets dirty fster down there..

btw, you never said how the car's performance was affected....loss? gain?

well, beats me. didnt dyno before/after... and you cant feel 2-3hp... u would think that cold air should be better, but then again. where does the cold air enter the fender well from unless you cut opennings. The is a small hole in the plastic but it's like an inc, so I dunno. but the filter stays cleaner so I think it's at least safer...
