Cf Hood

Cf Hood

yea i was wondering how to maintain the nice shine of a Cf hood i see alot in my area that have been faded. and it looks pretty crappy... will all cf hood just turn bad after like 2 -3 years

add a nice coat of wax every month or so....thats what i heard to help maintain the cf hood appearance

I think it depends alot on the quality of the hood. If you buy a cheap cf hood more of a chance of it turning nasty If your set on a cf hood buy a good one like vis and keep it in the shade as much as possible(the car) also a coat of wax once in a while and you should be set!

i tried to use meguiars tech wax on my CF hood and trunk, and it seems like it left a residue mostly on the trunk, somewhat on the hood. maybe a higher quality wax wouldnt have the same problem, but i am going to stick to claybaring it and quick detailing or something. im not sure what it was, but the hood started to haze up very very quickly.

soo dont buy the ones of ebay im guessing..... cause i went to this meet on wed there was this sweet Rx7 but when i got close to it the cf hood look hazy i just dont want to pay 500 and then it fades on me
