Need help choosing springs
Need help choosing springs
Ive been researching springs all day and I've come to 3 possible springs; the vogtlands, eibachs, and tein h-techs.
VOGTLANDS:
pros: 1) cheapest (by $5)
2) according to iwntmorhp, they are better than H&R's "if i had to chose between a free set of h&r or a free set of vogtlands...i would have to say vogtlands would be my choice. putting a dollar amount on it, the price would sway me to the Vogtlands also. " People say that H&R's and the eibachs handle the best out of the springs, so if the vogtlands are better than h&r's thats saying a lot.
3) bigfatty said "only miminal loss in ride quality"
Cons:
1) very limited 1st hand knowledge
2) has the same problem as the H&R's with the back end sag
EIBACH PROKIT:
Pros:
1) seem to be the best handling of all the springs
2) better resale value
Cons:
1) seems to be stiffest and harshest riding of all the springs
2) the back end WILL sag more than the 1inch advertised
3) the most expensive of the 3
TEIN H-TECH:
there hasn't really been very much discussion about these from what i could find. just that:
1) no back 3nd sag
2) ppl seem to like them
here are the Drop height for the springs
OEM Front 28" Rear 27 1/4"
VOGTLAND:
Unsetteled Front 26 5/8" Rear 25 3/4"

Setteled Front 26 3/8" Rear 26"

Eibach:
F 26 5/16" R 26"

H-Tech:
26 1/4" 26 1/2"

thanks housecor for the pics i jacked. sorry
