Hey FloMax...
I was studying the picture of your car in my last post. The reflection on the front quarter of your hood is different from the rest of your hood.
Is that a deflector you have on your hood? If so, can you give me the details on it? How much does it cost? Where can I get one? What color is it?

Has it reduced hood paint chipping from rocks yet? I'm still debating whether a bra or a deflector...although the deflector is sleeker looking.

Thanks Adam....well said concerning the carflector. You may speak for me anytime.
maxiamwanabee: I would go with the car flector. I had numerous paint professionals tell me that the bra would ruin my paint unless I took it off everytime it rained.
The deflector is molded to the shape of the car really well, so it actually looks decent once installed. Plus, I don't think that I have gotten any new chips since installing it, though I don't do too much highway driving these days.
Good luck with your decision.

Adam, do you have a picture of your hood with the deflector installed? I also have a Sterling Mist and would be interested to see it on the car that is our color as opposed to the black of FloMax's.
Thanks..
Gordon

CarFlector Info
I have one of these as well, was able to order through Advanced Auto Parts for $40.00.
It was easy to install, but the tape did not hold mine in place, I had to use the included screws. Also, the CarFlector is so wide in the center of the hood that it would flex down at high speed and rub the paint. I solved this by purchasing a small suction cup, like a radar detector uses, and sticking it on the hood where the CarFlector rubs. I also used the included rubber bump stops but they weren't enough by themselves.
The CarFlector gets good reviews from people on looks, but my car is black so it's a perfect match.
I recommend it.
