i went to the dealer to get my oil/lube/air filter changed and i mentioned the auto slippage and the mechanic said that in auto slippage, or "flaring" as he called it, rpms shoot up bout 1 rpm from where u r when the gears r switching...is that tru?

1 rpm? or you mean 1k rpm? It will shoot up 0.5k to 1k depending on how bad your gears are slipping.

Mine has that problem, but guess what? I took it into the dealer (I even had it happen once on the way in) left the car with them for the entire day, they drove it 4 miles trying to reproduce the problem but couldn't, so no fix.

And what else ... I pid them $20 to rotate my wheels while it was in there, and when I got it back it was pulling to the left at 50+ mph, so I took it back down there a couple days later for them to diagnose, and they give it back to me with the wheels un-rotated! They put them back where they had been originally to stop fix the pulling, so I paid for a rotation only to have it undone, and no offer of a refund (like ordering thru the mail, if you don't like the product and send it back, they don't refund the shipping).

So now I've got to convince an NTB dealer somewhere that I have this problem, since Nissan doesn't warranty the tires.
