I have been reading on crash tests lately because my mom is in the market for a new car and i had curiously looked up some stuff on the maximas. they call the maximas side air bags "combo bags" because i think that its not just a torso bag nor just a head airbag but a combo of them both? Has anyone ever seen an inflated side airbag from a maxima...how much area does it cover? up to the roof and down to your waist? Just curious.

 

I know for my 03 there is a diagram of what the side airbags cover in the owners manual, check yours out.

lol Im lying? How so? anyway this thread is gonna get locked because we are way off topic. anyway as seen in the illustration..it APPEARS that the side air bags protects most the side of your body in a collision. am I lying now?
