Well I am getting a hand-me-down! I get the wifes 04 4-Runner V-8. I bought her an 06 Accord because she commutes a lot. The Max had 90K, my extended warranty is up in August and I have had MAJOR issues with the two local Nissan dealers service departments (big surprise)! So I decided it was time to go.

Thanks, I love that truck. It will handle anything but also rides so nice. Not to mention the V-8!

Not a lot...the trade value on them sucks...$6500 (that was the highest of 3 dealers). I understand you'll never get what you want from a dealer as a trade and that you can make more money from a private sale...BUT...I live in Mass and their lemon laws are harsh on private sales. So with 91K and my extended warranty up in August it was time for the max to go.

Wow, that's cheap. Good luck with the new ride though- sounds very nice.

ah, good luck, I like the Runner, I almost bought a 06' they do ride very well, doesn't feel like a SUV. But in reality, the question of gas price and mileage kept me away from getting one.

That was private sale too, right? Like I said, because of the lemon laws in Mass it just makes it much easier to trade it in and have ZERO responsibility for it!

I want a 2000-2003 SE - to replace my 87 Toyota Supra...I need FWD and something with a timing chain!!

Sorry to see that you're leaving, maybe I'll be your replacement As long as I can find one in the CT area that's reasonably priced and with relatively low miles, under 75k

This makes me wonder if its worth selling my car privately when the time comes. I dont even know how much I could get for my 02 about to hit 100k but in excellent shape...

I like how when you search on cars.com it gives you a quick-link popup applet window with kbb values, and you can adjust car options, mileage - it's pretty neat - search for your year, and see what comes up.
