How to adjust 6 speed clutch??
Ok, so I just read a 4 page thread on shortening the clutch engagement and pedal adjustment for the 6 speed and it sure as hell did not assist me.
My clutch is starting to engage higher on the pedal. It engaged much closer to the floor when I purchased it a few months ago. Car has 65,500 miles on it.
Do I adjust the clutch pedal using the pedal adjust method or some other technique? I even looked in the FSM and it only mentioned pedal height adjustment, not clutch grab adjustment. Unless I was looking at the wrong section.

I am not sure if you can read it but that is the image on how to adjust the clutch petal. Ill try to make it bigger later if I can find the original image.
This is what I did to lower the pedal closer to the floor. It does not really changed the engagement of the clutch itself just lower where the pedal catches. You cannot adjust the actually clutch engagement. I hope that was clear.

Thanks for the pic. I already saw that in my FSM. It is titled Adjusting Clutch Pedal. Does this also adjust the engagement point of the clutch?
On my last 3 cars, (all SR20's) the clutch adjustment was under the hood at a bracket where it connected to the tranny.

Unless you have a strangely faulty master or slave cylinder (unlikely), your clutch is wearing out. I know, it sucks, but my 2K is doing the exact same thing. Mine has 80K on it. As the friction disc wears thin the tabs in the pressure plate actually move out, thus shorting the distance the TOB must travel to disengage the clutch. They usually also start to feel harder too.

This is why I am trying to understand how the 6 speed operates. Does it automatically adjust or can it be manually adjusted to engage lower to the floor w/o changing the pedal height?
