To all those 2000 Max owners. How many of you guys have gotten the trunk lip scratching the bumper problem fixed?
I'm still have the same problem and I have been running around from dealership and rep to rep. I still have not gotten my trunk problem fixed. They replaced the bumper clips, but they do still scratches. Now I have to take it to a body shop to fix. Does this trunk scratching thing only happens on the 2000 max? how about the 2001 and 2002 max, do u guys have the same problem?

I believe the trunk scratching problem was limited to 2000 Maximas. And it took Nissan a couple of sets of bumper clips to finally fix the problem. I know. I had to have mine replaced twice.
