FLTA2s with new wheels- 56K big no no

So after 3 months of waiting I finally got my freshly rebuild JIC shocks and upgraded 10kg rear springs to accompany the 9kg front springs. I must say the diff is substantial, the car feels neutral now with wider than front- rear tires and stiff rear springs. I'm runing 6 clicks on fronts and 5 on the rear- out of the 15 possible clicks for adjustment. I got -1.1 deg of negative camber up front, toe is -.2 deg and I forget the caster, it handles like a dream after doing a aligment on it at work myself today. Its a bit harsher than a stock EVO, but still pretty "comfy". Wheels are Volk Evolution 4, 18x8 and 18x9 rears in forged aluminum- 15lbs in the front and 16.5lbs in the rear. I'm runing 245-40-18 fronts and 265-35-18 rears, the tires are Toyo T1Rs.

yeah why wider in the back?? I would put the wider tires up front, better traction off the line hopefully and could possibly make the car a little more neutral.

Well I would get wider tires up front mainly for the handling aspect, but added traction off the line is always nice

you remind me of thebigsadler, i always thought the 5th gen always looked better wit a spoiler but yours puts a big swirve in that opinion, just like his 4th gen did. I love the look, rims look sexy and they light, sounds expensive. I like.

stiffer than front, rear springs = lots of oversteer.
wider rear wheels = more understeer.

Combine the 2 togheter and the car just has a touch of oversteer. On top of that I got a killer deal on the wheels, and 5th gens look best with staggered setups thanks to the rear beam.

I do not drag race my car, and my wheels would stick out in the front if I installed them the other way around.

I think with a kit the 5th gen looks great without a spoiler. Without a kit it's more debatable.

38mm front and 32mm rears for offset.

T1Rs rock, I originally wanted T1S but somehow my order got screwed up and I got the T1Rs- I cant complain when they are free.

I think the car handles great, the tires are nice and quiet, do not squeal and actually do pretty good in the rain. I don't read magazines, I hate Car & Driver especially. I sometimes get tires for free so I run them hard, I've had over 10 diff sets of tires on this car in the last 150K miles. I havent been able to push them to the limit just yet.... originally I wanted some Azenis Sport, but my hook up couldn't get Falken tires, but could get Toyos so 800 bux in Falkens or $0 in Toyos you do the math

I plan on adding a rear LIP spoiler to the trunk once I find a company whos willing to make one. I want one finished in CF to match my CF hood.

staggered setup for RWD applications only is a complete mis-interpretation.

If i'm on a road course entering a fast sweeper at 80+ mph I don't want some skinny rear tires sliding out from me while only the front has grip. If I was auto-xing in some parking lot, that would be different story
